1. How long after I purchase monthly or yearly coverage can I use the service?

  • Once you choose a billing option online, it takes about a week of information gathering from you and your current pet’s providers to devise an action plan for your pet. We will call you to get the details of your pet’s current care, phone numbers of current care providers, and your wishes for coverage.
  • Then a Power of Attorney and Pet Trust contract will be sent to you by email.
  • Upon receipt of that signed contract, we will begin coverage.

2. What does an “emergency” entail?

  • A physical or medical emergency that leaves you unable to care for your pet unexpectedly.

3. Can I use your services to schedule a dog walking?

  • No. This is not considered an owner emergency.

4. If I am late from a business trip and cannot make it home as scheduled, can I use your services?

  • No. Please make arrangements directly with your current pet sitter.

5. What does the monthly fee cover?

  • Pet guardians are on alert waiting for an emergency – 24/7
  • Once alerted, we coordinate the safe pickup of your pet
  • Pictures provided for you.
  • Coordinate placement of your pet into your approved boarding facility
  • Pictures provided for you.
  • Communicate food and medical requirements of your pet
  • Coordination of veterinary services as needed
  • Coordination of safe pet delivery when you return home

6. What data do you need from me?

  • Pet breed, picture, age, name, veterinarian
  • Preferred pet boarding facility or friend/family member
  • Comfort needs for the pet
  • How to reach you or family member

7. Does this service cover pickup and transportation of my pet during a time when I am disabled or unable to care for my pet?

  • Yes. If you have a current signed contract with Stella Ventures, this will be part of our services.

8. What legal documents do you need from me to cover your services?

  • None. We will provide you with a Pet Trust to sign during our on-boarding process.

9. My pet is particular to certain food; can I instruct you what food my pet needs during your care?

  • Yes

10. How are the pet services covered during your care?

  • Our company, Stella Ventures, will pay for the services for your pet and bill you at the end of the month or at the end of the care period, whichever is first.

11. If the worst happens to me and I die, what will you do for my pet?

  • We will place your pet with the person you designate on your Pet Trust. All information on care guidance you provided will be given to the newly chosen owner.
  • If you purchase the add-on services for a financial Pet Trust, we will administer the financial assets as instructed to cover your pet’s care after you die.

12. How do I get started?

  • Choose Pet Guardian Coverage and decide on monthly or annual charge.
  • We will setup an on-boarding call to get all the information on your pet and start the service contract setup.
